Community Service – Red heart charm
(earn 100 hours)
Many high schools are requiring community service before graduation. Most colleges and universities look for high school students who have taken active roles in volunteering.
Community service, for the purpose of this program, is recognized service within each jurisdiction. That is, participation in the jurisdiction’s statewide service project, conducting a statewide service project, a local assembly’s term service project, independent service such as cleaning a park, providing uncompensated tutoring to a non-family member, etc.
As a Rainbow Girl, after your experiences, continue serving your communities, schools, churches, and homes for the rest of your lives.
Service hours reported as a member’s local assembly can (and should) be included in this program.
Our B.E.A.R. program is free to all Rainbow girls. Adult participation is WELCOME. All alumni, majority members,
sponsoring bodies, and adults, who may choose to participate in our program, may do so, however, Rainbow does not have
the funds to offer the program free of charge. Therefore, anyone other than our Rainbow Girls, wishing to participate
must pay a fee of $10.00 to cover the cost of the pin and the charms.
A report at Supreme Assembly 2026 will be given to announce how many new Rainbow Girls were initiated, how
many community service hours were given and how much money was raised based for the IORG SA Temple, as well as
the Phase 3 – Century Campaign.
Thank you for your participation and “Be Enthusiastic About Rainbow”.
